FAQ
What clients ask about the firm
Are you a Vietnamese-licensed law firm or a consultancy?
A Vietnamese law firm with licensed Vietnamese attorneys, able to represent clients before authorities and in dispute proceedings, operating as the ECOVIS International member firm for law in Vietnam.
Can we work entirely in German?
Yes. The German Desk is led by the Managing Partner; correspondence, memos and calls can be handled in German, with Vietnamese-language filings prepared by the same team.
Do you cover tax and accounting as well as law?
Legal advice is delivered by ECOVIS Vietnam Law; tax, accounting and audit are delivered with ECOVIS member firms in Vietnam so a single mandate can cover all four.
Do you work outside Ho Chi Minh City?
Yes. Most manufacturing mandates involve provincial industrial zones — Binh Duong, Dong Nai, Long An, Bac Ninh, Hai Phong and others — and we deal with the relevant provincial authorities directly.
How do you charge?
Fixed fees for defined scopes such as company formation or a licence application; capped or hourly for transactions and disputes. The fee basis is agreed in writing before work starts.
